New Initiatives Unveiled at eXpCon Miami


At eXpCon Miami, eXp Realty announced two transformative programs that complement Revenue Share 2.0:


ICON Incentive Program


This program offers exclusive benefits to agents who achieve the prestigious ICON Agent status, a designation for top performers.


  • ICON Agents will receive 30 Front Line Qualifying Agents (FLQAs) for 13 months, maximizing their earning potential across all seven levels of Revenue Share.

  • This enhancement significantly boosts long-term earnings and supports sustained business growth for elite agents.


Revenue Share Capping Incentive Program


This program rewards agents who cap through closed transactions with:


  • 10 FLQAs for 13 months, unlocking earning potential through level 5 of Revenue Share.

  • This additional revenue stream positions agents for accelerated growth and increased financial success.

How Revenue Share Works


eXp Realty’s Revenue Share program, or “REV Share,” rewards agents for sponsoring others to join the brokerage. Here’s the process:


  1. Sponsorship Income: Agents earn income from commissions generated by those they directly sponsor (Tier 1).

  2. Cascading Growth: When those sponsored agents attract new talent, those recruits fall into Tier 2, and so on, cascading down seven tiers.


This ripple effect creates exponential income growth. For example, sponsoring just two producing agents, who each sponsor two more, can grow your downline to 128 agents by Tier 7, all contributing to your Revenue Share income.


Where Does the Money Come From?



Revenue Share income is entirely funded by eXp Realty’s portion of the commission split, leaving agents' earnings untouched.


Here’s how it works:

  • Commission Split: eXp collects a 20% commission split from agents until they reach their annual cap of $16,000.

  • 100% Commission After Capping: Once agents cap, they retain 100% of their commissions for the rest of their anniversary year.

  • Revenue Share Redistribution: eXp redistributes 50% of its company dollars (from the commission split) back to agents through the Revenue Share program, fostering a collaborative, agent-first culture that rewards growth and teamwork.

How eXp Redistributes 50% of Its Company Dollars


eXp Realty subdivides the 50% of its commission splits from each transaction into seven tiers, ensuring agents benefit from their direct sponsorships and the cascading growth of their networks. The tier breakdown is as follows:

  • Tier 1: 17.5%

  • Tier 2: 20%

  • Tier 3: 12.5%

  • Tier 4: 7.5%

  • Tier 5: 5%

  • Tier 6: 12.5%

  • Tier 7: 25%


Example of Revenue Share Distribution


To simplify, let’s assume an agent caps by reaching the $16,000 limit. In this scenario, $8,000 (50%) of the commission split eXp received is added to the Revenue Share Pool. This amount is then distributed across seven tiers based on the percentages above:

  • Tier 1: $1,400

  • Tier 2: $1,600

  • Tier 3: $1,000

  • Tier 4: $600

  • Tier 5: $400

  • Tier 6: $1,000

  • Tier 7: $2,000


This structured allocation rewards agents who actively grow the company by sponsoring and supporting other agents. Each tier reflects the cascading impact of network building, ensuring that contributors at all levels are appropriately compensated.

4 Enhancements to Revenue Share 2.0


1️⃣ Simplified FLQA Requirements


  • 1 FLQA now unlocks Tier 2 and Tier 3 (previously 5 & 10).

  • 5 FLQAs unlock Tier 4 (previously 15).


2️⃣ Broader Earnings Distribution


  • Removed FLQA requirements for Tiers 2 and 3, enabling more agents to earn.

  • Unused revenue share funds are redistributed as monthly bonuses to Levels 1-3.


3️⃣ New Tier 1 Incentives


  • Earn up to 50% of the revenue share pool in the first year for newly sponsored agents.

  • Alternatively, earn 5% of their GCI during their capping period.

  • The new “Pay Now” feature allows agents to access revenue share income immediately after a transaction closes, for a fee of $1 or 1%, whichever amount is greater, will be applied per transaction.
